Glen Nevis Campsite - Terms & Conditions
Advance Booking Fee
A £5 administration charge is made at the time of booking. This fee is non-returnable and the full cost of your holiday is payable on arrival. We keep around 200 pitches on a first come first served basis for customers who do not wish to book in advance.
A confirmation will be sent for all reservations accepted. The management reserves the right to decline any booking that is considered unsuitable.
Groups of 8 persons or more (including corporate, school, large family, and all-male/all-female) are only accepted by prior arrangement. Please call our Bookings Office for a group booking form. A £20 administration charge is made for group advance bookings. Only a limited number of groups are accepted at the discretion of the manager.
Telephone reservations can be made at any time during normal office hours. When the office is not manned, a recording machine will take your messages. Please leave clear instructions so that we can deal with your enquiry when the office re-opens.
Period of Hire
The period of hire is from 12.00 noon on the day the booking commences. We ask that you vacate your pitch by 12.00 noon on the day of departure.
ENTRY to the park is restricted to holidaymakers (tradesmen, commercial vehicles and static holiday caravans are not accepted).
Noise should not exceed a reasonable level at any time and complete quietness is required from 11pm to 8am. Radios, televisions, etc, should not be operated between these times.
In the best tradition of good caravanning and camping practice, reasonable behaviour is expected at all times and fellow holidaymakers must not be disturbed in any way.
Pets are welcome but must be kept under strict control. Dogs should be kept on a lead and exercised only in the areas provided or outside the park.
If you arrive after our reception closes, please follow the instructions displayed in our reception window. If you have a booking, you will know which field and which pitch you have been allocated from the confirmation letter. Please note that caravans or tents without display tickets will be visited each morning before 8.30, by the park wardens. We would point out that no vehicles are permitted access to the park after 11.00pm.
In order to maintain our policy of peace and quiet, we do not encourage late returns to the park, the gates being closed to vehicles at 11.00pm (parking is then provided at the park entrance). Pedestrian entrance is discouraged from 12.00 midnight. We find this arrangement suitable to the great majority of our customers.
If you find that you have to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible.
