Self Catering Terms and Conditions

DEPOSIT:  Due at time of booking with the remainder of the balance being payable 6 weeks prior to arrival. 

 If making a booking less than 6 weeks before arrival, full payment is required. 

Luxury Highland Lodges - Deposit is £200 per week (or part week). 

Highland Lodges or Foresters Lodge - Deposit is £150 per week (or part week).

Forestry Houses - Deposit is £150 per week (or part week).  

Holiday Cottages - Deposit is £100 per week (or part week).

Holiday Caravans - Deposit is £80 per week (or part week).

VAT:  Value Added Tax is included at 20%

LINEN, TOWELS, HEATING, ELECTRICITY AND FUELS ARE INCLUDED IN THE COST OF YOUR HOLIDAY. 

VEHICLES AND PARKING:  Each holiday unit has private parking.

Please note that utility vans and commercial vehicles are not accepted on the park.

PETS:  We regret that pets are not permitted in our holiday accommodation (includes pets staying in cars).

SMOKING:  It is strictly non-smoking policy throughout all of our holiday accommodation.

RESERVATIONS:  Web bookings can be made at any time. Telephone reservations can be made during normal office hours and will be held for 7 days to allow for payment.  When the office is closed please feel free to leave your telephone message and your enquiries will be promptly dealt with, first thing the following morning.  

PERIOD OF HIRE:  The period of hire is from 4.00pm on the day of commencement of the booking until 10.30am on the final day. It takes us some time to prepare your accommodation and it is therefore not possible to give entry until 4.00pm on the day of arrival.  Customers should arrive within 36 hours of the commencement of the booking (unless by prior arrangement) otherwise the accommodation may be re-let.  Please let us know if you are likely to be delayed.

ACCOMMODATION:  Hire of accommodation is subject to our usual terms and conditions and on the understanding that customers will take all reasonable care of the accommodation and its contents and leave the property in a clean and tidy condition on departure.

Cancellations/changes to your booking:  If you find that you have to cancel or change your booking, it is necessary to notify us as soon as possible, preferably in writing. Holiday cancellation or personal insurance is not included in the cost of the hire.

If you cancel the holiday the deposit is non-refundable, however if you have paid the full holiday price, you may be eligible for a refund, see below:

Cancellation Charges

  • More than 42 days (6 weeks): Full deposit.
  • 21-42 days (3-6 weeks): 50% of the full accommodation cost or full deposit, whichever is greater.
  • 14-21 days (2-3 weeks): 75% of the full accommodation cost.
  • 14 days or less (less than 2 weeks): 100% of the accommodation cost.

Reception:  Our reception is open at convenient times from Easter until September.

Restaurant and bar:  Our spacious and comfortable restaurant and bar, situated nearby, offers an excellent menu at reasonable prices and is open April until the end of October.
