Glen Nevis Guided Walk

Join us for a guided walk in Glen Nevis, an iconic Highland glen that has a fascinating history and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. We'll take you off the beaten track on a route that follows the River Nevis. You'll have the chance to experience nature and learn about the history of Glen Nevis. The route passes through sites that were used in major Hollywood productions (Braveheart, Highlander, Harry Potter) and at the end, you'll see our fold of Highland Cattle.

Please check at our campsite reception to find out when this activity will next take place.

Please Note Before Booking

  • We will be taking our time, and the tour will take approximately 2 hours. Most of the walk is off-track. The terrain will be rough in places, so a reasonable level of fitness is required.

  • Please come prepared for the always-changing Highland weather. The path can be muddy, so a good pair of walking shoes/boots is essential.

  • We'll be walking in areas of long grass with the risk of exposure to ticks so long trousers are advised.

  • The route is not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies.

  • There are no toilets available at the start of the walk or along the way.

  • The route is not suitable for dogs as we will be entering areas with sheep and cattle.

  • All people under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children should be under close supervision at all times.

  • Midges can be a problem on still, damp days so you might want to bring some repellant.
