Please Note Before Booking

  • Our Highland cows are very friendly, but they do have big strong horns and are able to kick their legs backwards when stressed. Calmness and vigilance are required at all times. Keep your distance unless our guide tells you it’s safe to approach.

  • This activity is not suitable for children under eight years old.

  • We're going to be crossing a shallow stream, walking over boggy ground and through high grass. A good pair of boots or wellies are recommended.

  • lease come prepared for the always-changing Highland weather. The path can be muddy, so a good pair of walking shoes/boots is essential.

  • We'll be walking in areas of long grass with the risk of exposure to ticks so long trousers are advised.

  • The route is not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies.

  • This activity is not suitable for dogs.

  • Midges can be a problem on still, damp days so you might want to bring some repellant.
