Glen Nevis is a wonderfully peaceful place in the Winter. The mountains look all the more dramatic with a covering of snow and there are so few people about it will often feel like you have the place to yourself!

Winter Activities

We’re a 10 minute drive away from the local ski centre, Nevis Range, which boasts Scotland’s only mountain gondola and numerous ski runs for all levels of ability. Equipment hire and lessons are also available. Find out more here:

There is still plenty of opportunity for walking and mountain biking in the winter although mountain climbing should only be attempted if you have the necessary experience and equipment.

Food & Drink

Our Restaurant & Bar is closed over the Winter period, but there are a great selection of eateries in and around Fort William.
